painting magic corner

Drywall is all done. Time to start painting. Would appreciate a suggestion on how to paint the vinyl magic corner. I understand you do not want any drywall primer on the vinyl as in will peel when the joint flexes. What is the best method?

I would imagine that there will be a problem decorating the room if part of the wall cannot be painted. The metal magic corner would not be a problem because the joint compound covers it. I could not find any information about a magic corner made from vinyl. The exposed vinyl would cause a change in the finish of the wall, if it could not be primed.

I wonder if this cannot be primed, if it can be painted.
