Question Painting our bathroom tub

We have a fiberglass bathroom tub. It's the common one piece style bathtub that goes up and forms the wall around it. We don't like the color but it looks fairly new. I don't want to buy a new one and pay to replace it.

How do we repaint it? Is it even possible to repaint it nicely?

I intend to use a spray gun to make it as even as possible.

Help! Thanks in advance.

There is a product you can locate at www.integritycoatings.com. It sells products for refinishing fiberglass bathtubs. It may be worth looking into this rather than painting. You would need a hvlp sprayer for the application. The base colors can be tinted to match any sherwin-williams color.
