Ralph Lauren Suede
We just painted our living room with Ralph Lauren "Suede" paint this weekend. It is a time-consuming process, including a primer, a first coat with a special knap roller, and a final coat with a 3" brush. I've heard many a tale of woe about this particular paint, but persistance pays. The walls look absolutely fantastic now.
My humble advice is to follow the directions to the letter and keep your eyes on the prize -- the final outcome will look completely different than the first coat, so don't lose hope. Takes a lot of time and patience. If you can help it, don't even look at the first coat.
Also, RL Polo paint is pretty expensive at $35 per gallon.
