Paint interior walls and trim

I just bought a home and ALL the rooms need to be painted. Can I use a hand held sprayer or should a use a cordless power roller? Also I want to paint everything white, what's the best stuff to use.

Use high quality latex interior paint.

Thumbs up what he said

A sprayer is ok on two conditions:
1) you want EVERYTHING painted (and I mean everything)
2) or you are very diligent in maksing off everything you do not want painted!!

Do not underestimate the overspray!!

Aa for a power roller - a quality roller and sleeve and a good extension pole will work just as fast and do a better job. Power rollers will put too much paint on one part of the roller and too little on other sections. That means you have to roll more to get even coverage. And cleanup takes longer.

Don't go cheap on the paint. Get the paint from a paint store. Saving a few bucks on the paint costs more in the long run.

If you don't hav ethe experience don't use asprayer, if you do the only paint you are goning to get anywhere is on the wall. My personal opinion is don't paint the millwork. I like a house that has a painted wall and stained mill work, I think it improves the look of the house. Good Luck.
