Painting a tile top table

I have a kitchen table, wood with a glossy tile center. The tiles have silicone caulk/grout around them. I'd like to paint the tiles black - but haven't a clue how, or where to start? Pull out the grout? sand the tiles? Help!

I have just purchased a 100 year old home. The floors have been painted before and i was thinking of painting them again. Can some please tell me the steps I have to take to prepare and paint them......also, after the paint drys, can you seal it with with something like a urethayn? staining a fiberglass entryway UNIT

We had just had a new fiberglass unit (door and sidelights) put on our front door. The area receives a lot of direct sunlight here on the North Carolina coast. We intend to stain the door, molding and sidelights. The only problem is that the molding is wood and the rest is fiberglass. The wood is several shades lighter than the fiberglass. We have been advised to use a gel stain made for fiberglass on the fiberglass areas. Will we ever get the fiberglass and wood the same color? Do we need to seal the entire thing after staining?
