Paint for projection TV wall
We are comtemplating a projection TV and wonder if these is a special paint we need on the wall where the image will be projected. I had been told there is a special paint but have been unable to find it or get info on exactly what paint would be best for this applicaton.

I would assume a bright white in flat or matte finish would suffice, but I'll make some inqueries as to if there is a special type for this.
Who told you this, or where did you read it?

The paint "expert" at Home Depot told me about the special paint. He said they didn't carry it but that Sherwin Williams did. Well, SW didn't and was unable to help me further.

try the projection mfg
While a bright, flat, matte white will work, you won't get the maximum benefit from it.
I'd try some of the projection mfgrs or call some high end audio/video stores for their opinion.
