which do I paint first?

I am painting one wall and the ceiling a dark red and the other walls and woodwork a cream color. Which color do I paint first?

Do the ceiling first, so that color doesn't drip down on your freshly painted walls.

Its also easier to cut in the wall up to the ceiling than the ceiling to a wall.

Ceiling, then trim, then wall color....THen I usually come back and recut the top edge of the baseboard w/ the trim color again just for an extra neat finish, to cover any specks or drips. I find it easier to cut a wall to trim rather than the other way around. I used to do ceiling, then walls, then trim, but found that making a neat line at the trim/wall was a lot harder.
