Question Exterior house painting

I'm thinking about painting the house this summer and need some advice. First of all the house is 15yrs old with a high grade masonite siding that seems to be in good shape, wood trim and wood windows. What is the best prepping method for the house and the wood windows. What is the best paint and primer to use.

NOTE: Some of my wood windows are peeling pretty bad and don't know what kind of shape the wood is in for priming and painting.

Thank you

Scrape and sand all loose paint. If any of the wood is soft, replace it. Then prime with a quality primer and top coat with a quality latex paint.

You might want to power wash it first, it will help remove the peeling paint, eliminating some of the manual scraping. Plus it cleans the surface at the same time.
