Question Paint splatter

Im using a roller to paint the walls & the paint splatters pretty bad. How do I stop this from happening? Thanks/Jina

That always happens to me too. You can get a roller head with shorter nap, slow down your stroke (as rolling really, really quickly will throw a lot more spatter). As you get the rythem you cover the walls quickly but get spatter.

Rolling will always give you splatter!! WHATEVER THE NAP!
You must mask and cover where you don't want the splatter to land. Other than that, have a wet rag handy to wipe off the splatter before it cures.

paint splatter is dramatically reduced with the use of a paint stick. Wagner has one and there is also one in seard. These sticks feed paint from the inside out. you add paint as you need it. It it also easier and faster [for the average do it yourselfer] to paint with these sticks. Only downside is the clean up and that is not really that bad. Only good for latex paint.

Use a quality roller sleeve and a quality paint
And as jeffk says mind your stroke
