Cool How To Remove Metallic Glaze Paint

I Put A Metallic Gold Glaze Over A Latex Paint And Did A Faux Paint Technique. The Wall Looks Okay, But What Do I Need To Do If I Want To Repaint It? Do I Have To Sand The Walls? How Do I Get The Metallic Glaze Off The Wall?

Most faux paints for DIY'ers are water based. You can paint over them as if it was latex. I know the Berh (H.D.) metallic, and Modern Masters metallic is waterbased. If it oil based the same rules would apply.

Thumbs up painting over metallic glaze

I've painted over metallic glaze before - it only took one coat of Benj. Moore, and looked fine! As long as it's water based glaze, not enamel, it should work just fine.
