Question

Hi ya,

Ok...so it's time to start painting...my husband is out of town, and says don't do a thing...but I am bored and I feel pretty sure that I can handle the job with the right instructions....

First our kitchen has plaster walls that are painted awful prison grey....and the wood kitchen cabinets are painted white on the outside...(not very well either)!

Tell me...what should I do first? I would like to start on the walls..I have patched all the holes and now ready to begin for the next step...

And what of the cabinets? Sand them? Prime them?

Thanks for all your help...

Monica

Do the cabs first. They need to be washed well first. Its amazing how dirty they can get just from cooking vapors.
