I have several of the heavy , lightly textured white plastic patio chairs and I'd like to know if there's a paint I can use on them, I'm getting tired of all the white.

A paint job is is only as good as the prep work. I would use a product made by sherwin williams called PREP RITE ANCHOR BOND PRIMER on surface. It was developed to grab plastics and other very slick surfaces even glass, ceramic, and porcelain. It's a water base product and can be coated with just about any top coat. However, You must weigh the cost of the primer and labor vs. Purchasing new colored chairs. Last time I checked Plastic patio chairs were only about 10.00 each. Maybe yours are of a better quality and it maybe worth it. I have tried the PREP RITE ANCHOR BOND primer and it worked well.
