We have a houseful of white lacquered woodwork (contractor painted). What's the best way to touch it up? We're talking small nicks, etc.--not the whole deal. Thanks

Locate the scratch.Wipe down area with turpentine to remove wax build-up. Scuff the rough areas with #220 sandpaper, wipe down, get some brushable laquer ( DEFT ) and apply with a proper brush. Let dry. Sand again LIGHTLY with #220 and apply wax (Briwax) with #0000 steel wool. Buff out to desired sheen. Locate another scratch.......
