Question

We are having the exterior of our house painted, and we (not the painter) buy the paint. We're looking between different brands and can't tell the difference with the exception of price. They all have lifetime warranties, are "one coat" guaranteed, etc. One manufacturer is about $15/gallon more than the other. Any way to tell which is better?

Use Benjamin Moore or Devoe. Use alkyd oil primer and latex top coat. To me, LIFETIME warranty printed on a paint label= cheesy paint. Ben. Mor. and Dev. will run $25 to 27 per gallon. Both are real paint.
