I have a popcorn ceiling that I am trying to transform it into a smooth and flat ceiling in a baby's room. Any advice in how to achieve that????

Prepare for a mess!Cover the room with plastic.Spray the texture with water and scrape with a mud knife,wider the better.If the ceiling has never been painted it should fall off.Scrape until smooth and patch,sand,prime and paint.

we just buy the house and want to repaint all the wall(with white color).Can i use a semi gloss for the kitchen and bathroom.So what kind of paint i can paint all the rest of the house.Please help.Thank
