The best method of removing lead based paint is with a chemical stripping product since it will always keep the paint in a wet or damp state so there is no airborne lead dust. I would suggest PEEL AWAY I
I'm moving into an old home that I know has lead paint. One of the first projects I want to do is refinish some of the old interior doors, windows, molding, etc. I know the windows have lead paint, and I assume that under many of the layers of paint there is lead paint on the doors and trim also. I know I should not sand this paint. Is it safe to use chemical strippers to accomplish the task? Any specific kinds? In general, short of replacing the windows, what is the best way to strip the lead paint from them?

I have a small (13")white under-counter tv in the kitchen. We moved and I now have a totally different colour scheme; blacks, browns...the white tv stands out like a sore thumb. Is it possible to paint it black? Anyone tried this before? What kind of primer & paint would I use? Or just wait 'til it dies and get a new one! Ha! Yeah, this will be the one tv that lasts for 25 years won't it?! :D
