What do you want to insulate from?If the weather,I have never heard of a paint that will do that.If it gives you any idea of what it takes to hold heat and cold out,a brick home with brick and styro and no insulation in the wall will have an r-value of about 2 or 3.In the deep south a wall r-value code calls for r-11.So you see,if you added 3 more layers of brick you would just get to the code in the south and would take 6 more in the north.I don't see how there could be anything added to paint that would add any r-value.Reflective paint will help but is always white or some awful silver. If this doesn't touch on your question, the next time you drop in let us know....Mike
