Can I paint a fiberglass sink?

I wonder if anyone has tried painting a fiberglass sink? Or knows of someone who did? I'd like to try but what paint would I use? Epoxy? Exterior? Polyurethane?

The sink isn't used very much - it's in the laundry room but is stained and I would like to brighten it up a bit.

If you want it to stay you will have to use a fiberglass refinishing kit.It comes with an etching prep and a 2 part epoxy.Be sure you get one for fiberglass,not ceramic.

Thanks for the reply. However, it sounds more expensive than it's worth! Is there a less expensive way if I'm not too particular about how long it lasts? If not we'll probably just buy a new sink.

The kit should be about $15 or so and is fairly simple to do.You will have to weigh the cost of the kit and your time.No common paint will bond long enough to justify doing.

Painting a curve

I want to be able to paint a room in 2 colours, with the join as a curve, rather than the more normal straight line. How do I make sure the line looks good (i.e. no overlap with colour) and continuous?
