Thanks Mike.....I'm not sure what type of finish I would want. When I saw the carports in Florida they appeared to have a slight shine on them ... not completely a matt finish. Does that help you....I don't mind which really, slightly shiny (if that is safe and not slick) or matt. Thanks. I wasn't sure whether to put another new topic in or try to answer the other...guess I should really look at instructions, but that is an absolute last resort.

Hi Leffcat, I tried two replies at the previous thread and both are lost somewhere.
To begin wash the floor with muriatic acid and rinse well. Let dry and you are ready to paint or stain. It sounds like if you paint you may want a semi-gloss finish and I would get a name brand floor enamel. The concrete and acid stains are matte if you like and have a softer overall look than paint.....Mike
