Question

Does anyone know how to match paint correctly? I live in an apt and the walls
are an off white flat paint that isn't very
durable & stains easily. I have pets and when
we play ball in the house, you can see where
the ball hit the wall(red & blue ball).

I can't exactly scrape a piece of the wall &
take it to the hardware store. Can anyone out
there recommend a decent flat scrubable paint
that won't cost me an arm & a leg?

Thanks!

caridiot, The only scrubbable flat that I know of is Sherwin-Williams EverClean but you will be minus body parts(arm and at least a leg) when you leave. Also, it is somewhat stain resistant but I think EverClean is an overstatement. A good grade eggshell wall paint would be your best bet. Tip :Any patching done must be primed with a flat primer such as KILZ 2,KILZ Total One or Zinsser 123 or the patches will show as dull spots except when using flat wall paint.
As to the color matching, you will need to bring home samples to get a match. A pro paint store will most often let you take a color fan that can be returned when you pick up your paint....Mike
