I have an Ugly 1970's Avocado Green themed bathroom. I am going to repaint the walls and ceramic tiles but was wondering if it was possible to paint the countertop. The arborite is flat and in good shape so I was wondering if I could paint over it and if so, what type of paint and preparation should I use? Your help is appreciated!

If I were to recomend paintint tile and countertops( I usually don't because they are not made to be painted) I would use a 2 part epoxy, I have found this site on painting items such as that but have not used there product, they sound as if it is a quality product and give you step by step instructions.
