Question

i have two coats of paint on my basement walls which are peeling, etc...i want to scrape and grind them off in order to put down a coat of dri-lok....my problem is that i have an infant daughter and a pregnant wife...i know if the paint is lead based,the removal poses a danger to both....how can i tell if it is lead based? can i have it tested (reasonbly)? please advise

Read up on it at these sites, and definately test the paint before removing or sanding.
