Mad Dog Primer

Hello, I am a professional painter, both intererior and exterior. I was wondering if any other pros have used this Mad Dog Primer. I live in MN and it is made here. Last summer we used it quite a bit and I wanted to know if anyone else has used it and what the results were.

Thanks much!!

That is a regional brand. Regional brands can be very good. But being regional, don't be suprised if you get little or no response to your post.

MD looks like good stuff. It looks like it can solve some probs. On their site they say it costs more. How much did it cost you. 1 gal, 5 gal. ?. Professional discount.

it was $74.99 retail per gal with our discount from Hirshfields Paint it was $53.00. It is really good stuff, it is like a rubber paint. We like it, I just wanted to see what others thought. You can spray it on also and it cleans up with water.

"YOWZERS"!!!!! considering the coverage 250 per gal. That's expensive. They do say to only use it where necessary though which makes it worth it if it solves the problem.

I sprayed 3 gallons on a small lake home/cabin here in Prior Lake. It was a cosmetic only job but a total trial for the Mad Dog, cant wait to see what happens. The stuff seems good. Time will tell

Dont know where your from but I am from Minneapolis, MN. We go thru a paint store called Hirshfields, they carry it, or I am sure they have a website, but I have not looked for it.

Professional Paint Contractor magazine and American Paint Contractor mag run ads for Mad Dog Primer in just about every issue. ZR is that stuff clear? I heard it dries clear.

Hey, it goes on kinda a light green, but when it dries it is totally clear. You can tint it also. We love the stuff.
