Passing along recommendation about Sherwin Williams Paint

Just wanted to tell everyone that Sherwin Williams just came out with a new line of paint called Duration Home. It's their top quality paint.

I used it last night and cut it in with a Purdy brush and it worked great. Goes on very smoothly. Some areas I had to use the brush to paint the flat wall since a roller couldn't get in there and it left very few, if any visable brush marks.

It's expensive paint, but worth the money and it's washable.

I used it allready - with excellent results

sorta like a mix between cashmere and everclean

personally I think the price/product was designed to compete with BenMoores best

I think the old adage about gettin what you pay for applies in spades. Very good paint, actually makes painting almost enjoyable. Did a job last month for a repeat customer, retired professional woman, lives alone in a huge house and loves changing the look of her house, always insists on SW paints. When we came in to order paint for the latest of her redecorating projects, dealer suggested the Duration Home as the best & she only wants the best in her fine old 20 room shack, .... gotta love good customers that know exactly what they want, for now that is, especially those with deep pockets and lots of friends for referrals!

Ah referalls. Gotta love it.

I was a bit nervous about not hearing from a client on this project and they ended up calling me up last night saying they couldn't decide on what TV they wanted, but to see if I can start the design process for a "50" Plasma.

They let me know right away in our first meeting that they've had several bad experiences with different cabinetmakers. I assured her that it was that last bad experience she will have and I will do anything I can to make them feel confident about utilizing my company for the project.

So if this job goes well, which I have no doubt that it will go well, referals will be a great thing, because as you know Dell, deep pockets know deep pockets and that's what the trades and continued business is all about. People telling other people about their experience. They say that for every person you make upset, an average of 13 people find out. For every person you do a great job for, an average of only 5 people find out. I'll stick with the 5
