What is the best exterior paint?
Our brick house is 5 years old and it is time to paint the trim. I have found what I think is a reasonable contractor and they are quoting a Porter paint, the Porter ACRI-SHIELD Semi-Gloss. Does anyone have any knowledge about this paint?
What is the best paint to use? I have tried searching the web, but I can't seem to find any consistent information.
I appreciate your help.

the best exterior paint I have used is Duration by Sherwin Williams
it usually gives the best protection and the best warrenty - @50.00 gal
not all homes need this protection - each home has different needs
I have used that Porter as well,not bad not great
why they want to use semi gloss on the outside of your home is unusual
unless you want a shiny wall
remember the more sheen the more imperfections youll see
