Opinions on Dunn Edwards paint, pls

I've been reading here that Sherwin Williams "Duration Home" paint is good stuff. How does it compare to Dunn-Edwards paints? We're going to paint in the next few weeks; I don't mind spending $$ for the good stuff.

The duration will outlast DunneEdwards and almost anything else. But at $40+/gal. it should. Dunne Edwards is good paint however and have been around forever. I like changing the color every 7-10 years so acrylics are what I like. All paints will fail if problems are present.

I have used both. Dunn Edwards Evershield line is comprable to Sherwin Duration. However in the event of premature failure, label warranty will be what your looking for. In my experiences with paint warranties, SW has a great record. DE seems to shift the blame to applicator error more often than not.
I have used SW for 25 yrs and DE for 15. Over 1000 gallons each per year.
