Painting Aluminum

Does anyone know what paint to use to paint interior aluminum window frames? I want to paint them white and they are the aluminum color now. Thanks to anyone who has had experience with this.

Aluminum paints well with either latex or oil base. Just be sure the surface is cleaned well. Be sure to use a quality enamel so it will look good for a long time.

I would strongly suggest you prime aluminum with what is generally referred to as "galvanized and aluminum primer".Most paint lines include one.Aluminum can be difficult to get paint to stick to unprimed and it takes a specific primer to do the job.

Sherwin Williams All surface oil primer followed by SW All surface enamel. Both are for steel and aluminum .
