Texture & paint ? We stripped the wallpaper from

our living & dining rooms. When we wallpapered 16 yrs ago, we had to mud the textured walls, prime, size, then wallpaper. When we stripped it yesterday, a lot of primer peeled off w/the paper, leaving a really ugly, peeling mess! We are going to re-texture, but what prep is needed before texture is sprayed? Do we sand, prime, re-texture, prime, paint? Please advise. Thank you.

If the surface is in good shape [no chaulk or dust] you don't need to prime before patching and texturing. You do need to remove everything that is loose along with any glue that may still be on the walls. Then skim the walls with mud, sand repeat as necessary until it is ready for texture. After the texture is sprayed and dried is when you need to prime. Have fun
