Question Painting PVC porch columns

We have a small village of condos and our pvc porch columns that have been painted white keep pealing. We have tried sanding them down to the bare pvc and first applied a primer and then paint. Some columns still peal. What is the correct type primer and type of paint to us.

I would use this . Readily available and sticks to pretty much anything.

PVC is a tough product to get paint to adhere to. I have always washed them with deglosser first with good results. As joneq suggested zinnsers is a good bonding primer. Any quality latex house paint would be a good choice for top coat.

Try the 1-2-3, its a good bonding primer.

If it still peels after that, I would hit it with 2 coats of epoxy.
