General House Reno Question

Just bought a house. 1200sq ft. We need to re-finish the oak hardwood floors and paint all the interior walls.

My question:

Should we clean and paint the walls then do the floors or floors first then paint?

Thanks

Either way is fine. If the floors are done first you will need to cover them and use care. If the walls are done first, more than likely you will need to dust the walls and do a little bit of touch up.

most of the pros will tell you if they have a choice they will start at the top and work down. do the floors last. you still need to cover them while you do the other work, but why take a chance on scratching that new floor with a ladder or something?
