Can you change a flat paint to an eggshell finish?

I bought 2 gallons of flat paint (dark brown) for my walls that were just recently textured. The store didn't carry an eggshell finish, so I thought flat was the way to go. Come to find out my husband really would rather go with an eggshell or satin finish. I'm wondering if I'm SOL or if a paint store can add a sheen to the paint I already purchased.

Thanks in advance!

I know of no additive to add gloss. You can mix flat and gloss [with combatible bases] together. 1gal flat + 1 gal gloss will produce in the neighborhood of a satin sheen. MUST be well mixed!
