To Keep Paint Spray Nozzzles From Clogging

After I finish spray painting, I invert the can & spray till it appears only air is being emitted, but when I go to use the can weeks later, the nozzle is clogged. Is there a chemical I can use to to unclog the nozzle & how do I apply it?

Sometimes you can take a needle and unclog the tip. I assume any solvent that would disolve the dried paint would also melt the tip.

Not really
The way you describe should work
I use it with success
Perhaps you should let it spray "clear" a bit longer

Also you may want to have a few extra "known clean" nozzles and switch them when they clog
Most are replaceable with only a small ammount of mess
