Question flat into eggshell ??

Would I be able to put a few drops of flat into an eggshell from a different company to get a hint of off white? Both are latex and premium paint.

All latex paints are interchangeable but when mixing 2 different bases it will change the properties of the paint. Adding flat to eggshell will result in less sheen and possibly less washability. Whenever custom mixing 2 paints together be sure you have enough to do the job as it isn't likely you could both duplicate the color or sheen.

Take it back to where you go it from and ask them to add some colorant to it. Or take it to a local paint store, they'll usually do it for you as well.

Yes, the best option is to take it back and add pigment.
