A couple of weeks ago I removed my cedar entrance door, sanded and painted it. In some spots I sanded through existing paint to the wood. I primed the entire door with a good oil based exterior primer. The next day the spots that were sanded to the wood were turning yellow. I then primed these areas with BIN and put on two finished coats. Within a week some areas of the door started to blister. These were on the exterior portion of the door near the bottom. When I cut into the blister, everything had lifted right down to the wood. Since then more blisters have come up, again on the lower part of the exterior side of the door. Any suggestions as to what could be the cause of this blistering?

I used white bathroom paint over strips of wood that hold up the panels in my bathroom ceiling. A few weeks after, I started to notice little brown drips coming through the paint. I can wipe them off, but they always return and now the drips have spread out and into larger areas of brown mess. Is this from oils in the wood? I know I have to repaint, but I want to make sure I can keep it from happening again. Anyone have experience with this problem can help me out?
