stripe painting
hi, I am wanting to paint one wall of a room in 6 different shades of blue/purple. My idea is to do it in two inch stripes, but in not have all the strips reach the bottom/top. In other words on each 2" strip, there would be more than one color. One stripe might start out as purple and 1/3 of the way down the wall, turn into a deep blue. or 2/3 down the wall turn a different color. Trying to figure out a way to do this with the least effort. This room has not been painted in over 10 years, so will require two coats on each color of strip. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Very important to use a quality brush for something like this. I'd use a Purdy 2 1/2" angle brush.
