seal paint
I have painted my kitchen cabinets with latex-semi-gloss. I first cleaned and sanded, put 2 coats of primer. The cabinets look great but the paint scratches easily. I painted them WHITE can I seal them with anything to stop the scratching? Polythane, shelac??? Thanks

I would suggest sanding them lightly and applying a coat of waterborne enamel [SWP or BM] Good enamel will dry harder eliminating your scratching problems.
Oil base poly will turn the white paint yellow [amber cast] Latex poly may not change the color but personally I wouldn't use it over latex enamel.
