Painting Over Mirrors

We just bought a house and there are several huge mirrors surrounding the bathtub. Can anoyne rec. the best paint / techniques for painting over these awful mirrors?

Why not just take the mirrors down?

Besides paint not adhering well to glass/mirror, once painted there would be no quick recognition of it being glass and carelessness could result in breakage and possible injury.

I agree with Bob, remove the mirrors!

From a practicality, and actuality, and a safety angle, remove the mirrors
