I am planning on painting a wooden screen door and am looking for insite into how I can keep the paint off the screen. I thought of taping it off but the wood butts right up to the screen and I have concerns about the paint seeping under the tape since the seal against the screen by nature wont be very good and I have concerns about free-handing it since the is no good way to wipe any errors from the screen.
Is there something i can put on the screen to protect it?
Thanx
John

I hate to suggest tape because of the false sense of security it gives most people but it may be your best bet. If you tape it well and then use a good brush and try to keep the paint off of the tape, you should be ok.
Sometimes paint on screens can be camouflaged by covering it with a very thin coat of aluminum or black paint.
