interactive test painting?
Are there any web sites out there that allow you to upload pictures of the rooms you want to paint and then test different colors within the picture?

Both Ben Moore and Sherwin Williams have interactive color viewers where you choose a room and change the colors
It's their rooms though
You can however purchase the software you're looking for from Ben Moore
On their website or at their stores
With the software you can upload and change colors on your own pics

a co-worker bought something called Virtual Painter at Lowe's for $5 bucks. she uploaded a pic of her kitchen & was able to change wall colors easily using most of the lines of paint that Lowe's sells to choose from.
