Colored epoxy finishes

Hi, I hope this is the correct forum! My kitchen faucet's colored epoxy finish has worn off in many areas. Rather than replace it, is there a paint which will adhere and last a fair amount of time? (1 or 2 years) The metal underneath has a gold color.

IMO it isn't a good idea to paint a faucet. You might look into tile paint.

Painting over non-paintable exterior caulk

Is there anything I can do to prep the caulk so that I can paint it. I'm using a Ben Moore oil based floor paint and I would really like to avoid ripping out all the caulking and starting over. Thanx in advance.

I am going to repaint several interior walls. It looks to have an oil based semi gloss. I will try and determine the paint type (oil / latex), but when I do determine the paint type, will I need to sand and/or prime the surface? Thanks, NC
