?removing oil paint from hardwood
Hi all: I have to remove some oil paint smudges from hardwood recently refinished with an alcohol-based stain.
Any suggestions on how best to get the paint off? I hear Goof Off only works on latex and I don't want to ruin the finish on the floors.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I agree, goof off and oops aren't very effective with oil base paint. Your best bet is to gently scrape the paint off. Once the paint is removed use a little thinner or maybe wax to buff out any scratches that show.
