Expiration on Latex paint?
Is there a expiration on latex interior paint if the can has not been opened? I heard it can last years, but want to make sure. I bought some paint today for our living room but will not be able to paint till next week. It should be good, but want to make sure.

If you are asking if paint you bought will be usuable in a week the answer is yes.Be sure to stir it well and not leave it where it will be exposed to below freezing temperatures.
If latex paint is well sealed and does not go below freezing it will last a long time even years.

Thanks guys for the fast response. I plan on keeping the paint in the closet for now, so there will be no freezing. Thanks again fro the help.

Rotten paint smells terrible. If it turns, you will know. Also, if it looks like cottage cheese, its bad. If the can is full of rust when you open it, get new.
Just use common sense.
Your paint you just bought will be fine, but may need to be stirred before use.
