how do i get tile paint off tiles?

how do i get tile paint off tiles?

im chipping it off with the edge of a stanley knife,that will take forever! thanks

What type of paint? How much paint? What kind of tile?

it was called tile paint!2 thin coats of different colors on ordinary 6"square kitchen tiles

Ok, I thought you were trying to remove paint splatters.

Paint & varnish remover will probably be the most effective at removing the paint. Gotta wonder what shape the tiles are in [under the [paint] or do you plan to repaint them? Might be better to replace the tiles.

the tiles may have been scuff sanded prior to being painted. if you're wanting to restore the tiles to their original glory, you may be disappointed. just do a small section first to find out if they'll be smooth & shiny underneath.

are these wall or floor tiles?
