Touching up the ceiling
Hi
We just had our ceiling professionally painted about a 2 months ago, and ask I was moving some stuff it made a black mark on the ceiling, so I rubbed it out but now its rubbed out some of the paint.
We still have some left-over paint in the garage, but I was wondering, if I were to touch up the small part (which you cant see while directly looking at it, but does show up when the sun directly hits it) will the touched up portion also show up? Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the diy forums!
A lot depends on the type/brand of paint used. I assume you have a slick finish ceiling which is the hardest kind to successfully touch up. Sometimes the paint touches up best by just dabbing some on the spot, other times it is better to feather out the paint touch up. I'd try just hitting the spot first.
It is possible that the touch up will show under the right conditions - lighting and angle of view.
