Paint quality

What about Benjamin Moore and C2 latex/acrylic paints regarding quality? Are they really good?

Ben Moore, like most "brands", has good stuff and cheap stuff
I'd suggest sticking with the premium lines
I've used mostly Ben Moore for years, almost all of it in the "Regal" line
It's never let me down

I haven't used enough C2 to comment accurately
The semi-gloss seems great for trim

Hello,
I don't believe Benjamin Moore makes anything less than decent to high quality materials.

(And that's from someone that spent more than half of my working life working for a competitor of Benny Moore <Glidden>)

I've bought more paint from SWP than elsewhere but about 12 yr ago I painted a local bank and the specs were for a certain line of B Moore. Because I deal with SWP and didn't have an account with BM [had to go to the next town to even find one] I wound up paying slightly more per gallon that what I was paying for SWP's best contractor grade. I was shocked at how poorly the paint preformed. I don't remember the name of that line of paint but it was their cheapest.

I don't know why the specs called for that line of paint but I could have used my choice of SWP and both done a better job and made more money.
Bottom line is ALL paint retailers/manufactures have a line of cheap paint!
