Painting kitchen cabinets

I hired a painter to paint my kitchen cabinets. I insisted he use Cabinet Coat paint which he did. I suspect it was runnier than he was used to and there are numerous run spots. He has one more coat of paint to go.

Will he likely sand those run spots away before or after the last coat? Should I insist he sand those off? Can I just sand them before he arrives tomorrow?

I just don't want any run spots.

Help!

Welcome to the diy forums!

I'm not familiar with Cabinet Coat paint.

Is the paint dry enough to sand? I wouldn't want any runs or sags either! Since you are paying the painter, I'd let him sand it and make the job presentable.
