Spraying T1-11

I need to paint the exterior of my house, which is T1-11. In a few experiments, rolling has been a bit of a bear. This is a one shot deal (I mean I am not planning on spraying on a regular basis), so I wasn't looking to spend a fortune on a sprayer. I was looking at the Wagner Spray Trac Power Painter to speed things along. Any thought on it?

Welcome to the forums

I've only used pro type spray rigs and don't know much about how well the diy type sprayers work. For limitted use it is better to rent an airless. Spraying also has a bit of a learning curve and may require masking and cover up - watch the wind!!

Generally I roll T-111. I use an 1"-1.5" roller nap. The trick is to apply a LOT of paint, letting it run into all the little crevices and then before it dries gently roll the paint out evenly. If you do spray - it is best to back roll the paint to work it into the T-111.
