wood paneling
i want to paint my brown wood paneling flat white can you direct me on what to use for it to look right. thanks andy

Clean
Scuff sand (lightly sand)
Wipe clean (tack cloth or swiffer)
Solvent-based primer (oil/alkyd for most...pigmented shellac for real dark, real slick, or questionable quality paneling)
Two top coats premium quality flat paint

Just thought I would add, in case you hadn't seen other threads like this one... Two coats premium quality flat paint from a paint store. (As opposed to a Big Box Store. Big Box Store and "Premium Paint" are an oxymoron.)
