Painting New Interior Doors

Have new 6 panel wood doors. Worked on first door today. Unfortunately, made a big mistake. Used the wrong paint--put the semi-gloss on first, then put the primer over that. Is this a major problem, or can I now paint over the primer with the semi-gloss?

It could be a major problem
You won't know till it fails though
The fix, however, is to remove the paint you already applied, then apply the primer, then paint again

As there's a chance it might not fail, at least not right away...might as well wait and see before you remove all the paint you just did

I'd put on another coat and hope for the best
If it fails, it really doesn't matter to remove one coat or two
If it holds, then it holds

Don't do it that way again though, it's a really bad idea

It will probably be ok, just be sure to sand and dust the door prior to applying the enamel.
