vinyl tub surround

i would like to paint my bathroom, and have a vinyl tub surround that needs a bit of touch up....is it possible to paint a vinyl tub surround and how do i go about it. thanks

Welcome to the forums!

I know there are some coatings that can be used on the acrylic tubs but that's about all I know

Prep is very important - you might try contacting a tub refinisher and see what they say.

Can i put oil based varnish over water based varnish?

I've just been varnishing our floorboards with water based varnish although i meant to buy oil based varnish. Can i switch at this stage an put oil based varnish ontop of the water based? Many thanks for any help

Hi, I have an old ugly cabinet in my bathroom that I can't afford to replace, so I'd like to paint it to match the rest of the stuff in the bathroom. The cabinet is stained right now. As I understand it, I need to sand the the cabinet until it is no longer glossy, prime, and then paint? I just want to make sure I do this properly. Thanks for any advice.
